Hi! I'm new to your account, but just binged your "I bet on losing dogs" storyline, and I had a question and concept for you? How much is the reader free to interpret? I'm a theater kid, so I like her hobbies. But is there any specific physical traits you're writing for her? I know you mentioned that we were/are chubby, which is cool, but do you imagine any certain features? Because I'm Mexican American with certain features, so I was curious if you had a certain ethnicity set for her besides being half White/Jewish from Bruce being her biological father.

I also had the same question about Tiffany, because I'm currently imagining the Stereotypical All American girl. Kinda got that Disney Channel actress vibe to her. (Physically). I also had this really messed up though of the reader having to spend YEARS trying to keep in touch her mother's culture and such, learning dishes, traditions, going to local festivals by herself, having to learn how to do makeup and hair styles/products that fit her face and hair pattern. No one bothered to help or teach her. But than, suddenly Tiffany starts to steal those "habits", uncaring if they were very personal to the reader. Than everyone in the family suddenly starts to like the Reader's culture and such. (I had this scene in my brain where the Reader walks in on Tiffany is bragging about some music or dish "she" tried out from the Reader's culture, while the family are all happy and curious about it. Even when the Reader tried to introduce it to the family, everyone declined even trying it.)

ok so, I'm trying to be as vague as possible bc reader is supposed to be whoever is reading so there's no in depth description or specific height or build (except chubby in the prologue). i feel like i've basically made reader an OC which i hate but personally when I'm reading a fic, I just ignore things if I don't like them or they don't apply to me which is what i suggest yall do!!

the reader's mother is Palestinian/ Venezualan, like my own mom but you can change it if you'd like. it's important to mention that reader does have Bruce's jaw structure and face shape and shares facial features with Damian as well. It's small things like the ears, the roman nose, even the eye shape, point is that every time reader looks in the mirror she can see shadows of Bruce and Damian on her face. it's kinda like the vibe of "like him" by tyler the creator. I'm middle eastern and hispanic so I imagine reader with darker feautures like tan skin, thick brown hair, arched brows and long lashes but it's all up to you!

reader is very confused because while her dad is white, she isn't. she did try to bond with Damian and learn Arabic with him but he shamed her for not knowing and kicked her out his room, literally. she used to be embarrassed of her heritage when she was younger (courtsey of Tiffany calling her a mutt) but as she got older she realized how interesting her culture is.

she wants to learn arabic but has no teachers and it's a pretty hard language to learn if you don't grow up speaking it .she has no sources to help her and most of the time culture and traditions are things you grow up with and are passed down to you from family. her mom used to speak to her in arabic and feed her dates and sandwiches with olive oil and sugar and make her fried plantians so those things are very special to her, they're some of the only details she remembers about her late mother. so yeah reader is very "Your best american girl coded"

You're so on point about Tiffany, she's your classic all American girl. Blonde hair, blue eyes, long tanned legs and a set of pearly whites. she's the kind of white girl to act like she cares about other races but is secretly racist. you know what girls im talking about! and that prompt you sent with the food eats so hard, I have a scene mapped out with that in the upcoming chapters. Alright, this is going to be a bit more in depth as I found out Varesa's supposed to be a wrestler???

So here's a new redesign with that in mind.

Still super messy but I hope it gets the point across. I went with the full purple this time and ditched most of her previous design.

Okay, so I didn't look into the etymology behind her name (which is my bad) but I ran with Mexican wrestlers since bull fighting is a pretty neat thing to reference with her.

Cute wrestling outfits are extremely easy to find (literally just look up Japanese women's wrestling) but Varesa's og design didn't look anything like a wrestling outfit, which pissed me off. Like:

These are adorable! But no, they went way off with sweater pieces and loose leg warmers?? Those would be horrible for wrestling.

She could actually look like a wrestler while emulating a cute vibe and these girls are proof.

I ended up making a version inspired by the Japanese fits with a Mexican twist plucked from this outfit:

I think it works well to convey Electro while also keeping the cutesy design element in mind. She really has no reason to have a colour palette that hides her element, honestly. Like sure, it could be a red herring for her opponents but the fact that she's a wresler it's not readable from a design standpoint in the first place.

Onto her body type... Oh boy. SHE WOULDN'T HAVE ONLY BIG TITTIES IF SHE'S BULKING OR ANY SORT OF WRESTLER!! Women that are building up muscle end up looking like they have less titties because of the muscle, which would make her less thin in her tummy. I hate that they just gave her big titties and thighs and said: BOOM! She's fat. Or she's muscular. Most people don't look like that without complications.

Like these women don't have bigger chests, they have muscular tummies. Fat distribution doesn't just go to the 'attractive places, it goes to the tummy, arms, and back. So Varesa's body type is completely off for what she'd be doing. A bigger chest would be interesting if it brought up pain that she's have during wrestling but having big titties doesn't equal good wrestler.

I actually don't think her being associated with food isn't a bad thing if they had actually done her properly. Bulking is very important to wrestlers and she wouldn't be fat necessarily, just muscular. If she was just chubby, then associating her with food would be a lot more of a stereotype. That being said, Genshin doesn't exactly have good body type rep so this doesn't surprise me.

An interesting thing to pursue with that food is HOW she bulks. She's a cow (literally) and therefore would have the challenge of bulking on a vegetarian or vegan diet, which would be a great story to cover. I love the idea that she'd be a health expert in know what fruits and plants get her the most of the nutrients she needs.

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

I really like her design (and the fact that she's based off of Shelley Duvall absolute legend) but also the big reason is the shit that she goes through while also persisting as much as she can. It's kind of funny because I kind of see her like DarkStripe in the case that she constantly had everything against her and yet kept still going until the end (which is different for both cases obviously, Anya killed herself and DarkStripe was murdered). Is it strange for me to say that I think she'd fit right in the Home Movies series. I'd also put her in Warrior Cats but as a background character that makes an impact and then just fucks off to become a Kittypet or something.

About me!!: I am a transmasc! My pronouns are he/she/it, most people wonder why I allow people to call me a girl, yes it makes me uncomfortable when people call me a girl but I try to get used to it. My pronouns are like that because I know not all people will accept me, because I know that people do forget and that's completely okay!! And because I have not came out to most ppl irl!!

I am an age and pet regressor, I tried out @g3pl@y recently with an ex cg and I have never felt more traumatized and taken advantage of. I will not talk about the topic because I am genuinely afraid they will find this and do what they said they would! So there will be no more of those kinds of blogs that I will interact with unless I don't realize what I'm doing.

I REFUSE to be sexual when I'm regressed!!!! This is a big rule for me, I don't like it, I don't like being taken advantage of. I am extremely sensitive despite how rude I come off as! I cry at the most simple things (even a slight raise of tone, or being called something rude when I can't tell if they are joking), I will sit there and cry for hours. I hope that I can be as open as I am able to without receiving hate! I'm 5 or 4 weeks clean and I want that to stick.

Hellooo, I'm going to tell you about the original character in my enhypen story so you have some background information and a little about myself while I'm at it 😊.

Her name is Esmeralda Adel. You can probably guess from the name that she isn't English or Korean, but in fact, Mexican and Arabic. I'm not Mexican, but I am Egyptian. I was always fascinated with Hispanic culture, so I decided to write a story where the mc is half half. I'll do my best research, but if there are any Mexicans out there, I welcome you. Pls help if you don't mind?

Her appearance and personality are based on me and the people I know. She's a med student, my sister is a med student. She has curly hair, me and my sister have curly hair. She's not very slender, but not very chubby, she has curves, like me. I have taken a long time to come to term with my body, because I always compared myself to thinner girls, who ate what they wanted and stayed like that. I envied their fast metabolism. I have come to terms with the fact that I need to work hard to be healthy, and even that maybe those girls I compared myself have problems too, that I'm not struggling alone. Now I am trying to become fit, so even if I'm not the thinnest, I'm healthy, because that's all that matters. I have a pretty thin waist compared to my hips but a heavy...cleavage, so you may think I'd be happy about it because it has been an "ideal figure" for women (which is stupid because all body types are beautiful 😤) but you won't believe how much I struggle to find clothes that complement me.

Anyways, I'm ranting, let's get back on track. She is smaller than enhypen (especially next to Niki because let's face it that dude's a giant) but not that small, she's actually 170cm, so my height. She is very generous, and very patient. She's really smart. Like really smart. She graduated school at 16 years old because she skipped the two grades when you learn out to read and count and basic math, she already knew it (her mother taught her). This is based on a friend of mine who actually did skip two grades when she was young. Um, what more.

She has the most random thoughts sometimes, like me. She's very pretty, and she knows she's attractive, so that makes her even hotter. She's pretty fit, and actually works out alot muscle mommy.

She's lived in both Egypt and Mexico for about four years each when she was young and came to France when she was ten. She has a great relationship with her mother. The two are very close, they're best friends and confidants, they tell each other anything. This is based on my relationship with my own mother. I love her more than anything. She's arabic (both of my parents are) but she isn't really like I've heard arabic parents are. She's cool with anything as long as I'm safe, happy and have good results scholarly. She's someone I can gossip with, and I've learned a lot from her. You can probably tell that I really admire her 😅. Esmeralda's father is also someone she gets along with great (but not as much as with her mom). Her parents divorced when she was in middle school, but they did so on good terms. They fell out of love and decided it was best to separate. They get along, and Esmeralda's mom actually loves her ex's new wife, the two are good friends!

Also, if Esmeralda seems unrealistic because she doesn't seem to have any bad sides, then you're both right and wrong. She's learned what to do and how to act through trial and error. She was raised right, and has had an excellent role model that encouraged healthy habits (mental or physical), so she wasn't "perfect" from the bat, her personality right now is a product of her past environment and the people she frequented or knew. She also has a few bad habits. She stays up all night and has trouble accepting help, she has trouble relieving stress and tends to push away people when she's sad or angry. She's working on it though! And growing up she's always wanted to make her mother proud, so she worked hard and tried to learn as many things as possible. Her mother loves her and is proud of her of course, but now Esmeralda thinks that if she fails to do something then she will lower her mother's image of her (which isn't true, but is a product of always trying to be better than her past self): she's an overacheiver. She happens to be extremely petty 😅

But she is also a projection of how I wish to be. She is the person I long to become in the future, and I decided that if I can't write about a perfect character in fiction, where am I going to do that? That's what fanfictions and fiction stories are made for! So there you go, a bit about me and and my character. ;)

RDR1 live reactions 3/?

Ok so before we actually get into the live reactions I’ve been wanting to make a post summarizing how I feel about different characters you meet in new Austin but I kept forgetting to do I’m gonna do the here

Bonnie McFarland: I love her. She's a girl boss and a well rounded character especially compared to other characters. I genuinely hope we get to see more of her in later chapters 

The marshal: Uh he’s pretty good. In the context of the game I like him but if he were a real person we’d probably disagree on too many things to get along. Again, perspectively, he’s well rounded. He’s the only person, besides John, who gave me any sense of competence and security during the assault on fort Mercer  

deputy Jonah: All I’ve got to say about him is I think anyone named Jonah is doomed to be annoying in some shape way or form

The chubby deputy (I’m so sorry idk his name): Uh pretty neutral. he seemed nice and empathetic which I can appreciate 

Nigel west dickens: Neutral negative. I just don’t really care for him but I can't articulate why I don’t. 

Seth: I like him. He’s a dirty nasty little freak but I like him. There’s potentially some necrophilic aspects of his character I’m not ready to address but like I said before he speaks of the dead in a way that while disturbing is deeply poetic. 

Irish: Fucking hate this guy. He is literally just a walking stereotype. Oh he’s Irish and has an Irish accent and what do you know his name is Irish? Jesus. I know his name is a nickname given to him by Americans but still. His only redeeming quality is he had a few funny lines. For example when you’re on the raft floating over to Mexico he mentions that the reason they’re being shot at might have to do with him sleeping with someone’s daughter and then after the 4th or so wave he shouts ‘surely I didn’t sleep with all of yur daughters!’

I get that they would have planned the end around what he says here but it’s still a little baffling, specially because the way he’s retelling it makes it feels like it already happens y'know? Like this is the sort of recap statement I’d expect from a sequel
